Why is Leztopia important?

Hate crimes on the basis of sexual orientation are up by 112% in the last five years. Many queer couples have also experienced harassment, hyper-sexualisation and fetishisation in predominantly straight spaces.

Our goal is to eradicate this and make everyone feel safe and welcome.

Our Mission

We want to platform talent from within our community, giving them opportunities to hone their craft and play to an audience that appreciates and understands them.

This will create a self-sustaining ecosystem of FLINTA artists, creatives, and event-goers. By focusing on inclusivity from the ground up through our booking policy, event design, and community partnerships, we want to create a template for safer nightlife spaces.

Our goal is to lead by example, showing that club nights can be diverse, exciting, vibrant, and socially conscious without compromising on sound, venue or atmosphere.
